Agra city of Taj is no doubt the first choice of any tourist travel in India. Tajmahal :

One world-renowned wonder, Taj Mahal was built by great Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Taj mahal symbolizes the eternal love story between Shah Jahan and Arjumand Banu Begum famous as Mumtaz Mahal who fell in love at first sight when they were at 15 and married at 20.


This memorial built by the master craftsmen from Italy and Persia to help design emperor Shahjahan's ambitious tribute to love. Taj mahal is not only a great architectural beauty but a very good plan and design chocked out to make it a memorial of immortal love. Master architect of the Taj mahal was Ustad Ahmed Lahori, the renowned Islamic architect of that time.


Tajmahal open every day except Friday. Opening time from Sunrise to sunset. Best time to visit at sunset and sunrise.

Agra Fort :

The great Red Fort of Agra was begun to build by Mughjal emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D ; and got addition of magnificent palaces, courts and gardens by Mughal emperor Jahangir and Mughal emperor Shahjahan gave the final touch with elegant marble pavilions inlaid with semi-precious stones. ITIMAD-UD-DAULA'S TOMB : ( Also known as Baby Taj)

This beautiful marble tomb was made by Nurjahan – queen of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, in the memory of her father Mirza Ghias Beg during 1622-1628 A.D. Enjoying the privilege of being the first marble tomb of the Mughal period, the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah must be visited to see its beautiful inlay designs and carvings. this mausoleum located on the bank of the Yamuna River, construction of this marble tomb shows a strong Persian influence.


Sikandra : 

This mausoleum is for Emperor Akbar. This grand monument was started by Akbar and completed by his son Jahangir. This tomb represents the philosophy and secular outlook of Emperor Akbar, a perfect blending of Hindu, and Muslim architectures.


Jama Masjid : 

This masque was constructed in 1648A.D. by Jehanara Begum - daughter of emperor Shahajahan. This building exhibits wonderful assimilation of Iranian architecture.
